This bronze bas-relief of Carl Ferdinand von Arlt, made by sculptor Hans Bitterlich (1860-1949), is one of the medical monuments that can be found in the arcaded courtyard of the University of Vienna (Universitätsring, 1). It was unveiled on 9 July 1896.
