Castellani’s Paint

This bottle of Carbol-fuchsin, aka Castellani’s paint, is on display in the Sziklakórház – Hospital in the Rock Museum in Budapest. It was invented in the 1920s by Aldo Castellani and was widely used since then as a topical antiseptic and antifungal.
