This imposing oil-on-canvas portrait of Enrico Albanese can be seen in the management building of the hospital complex of the old Ospizio Marino in Palermo, which today bears the name of doctor Albanese.
In the right hand corner of the portrait one can see the signature of the artist who painted this picture, Castro Giovanni, and also the date of its creation: 1891.
