Erasmus University Medical Center

The Erasmus University Medical Center (Erasmus MC) in Rotterdam (‘s-Gravendijkwal 230) is one of the leading teaching hospitals in Europe1. It continues the tradition of Rotterdam’s first hospital – the Groote (large) or Coolsingel Hospital – built in 1851 and destroyed during a bombing on May 19402.
