In March 1878, Ernestina Paper opened her own consulting rooms in this palace of Florence (via Venezia, 12) not far from her house1. We are not sure about how long the consulting rooms worked, but we know that in 1881 on the occasion of a census, Paper declared herself a ‘non-practicing doctor’.
