Galileo Galilei’s Statue

This Caen stone statue of Galileo Galilei by Alexander Munro represents one of the 19 great men of science that stand “thoughtfully against the pillars around the court”1 of the Oxford University Museum of Natural History in Oxford. “Galileo holds two lenses, one in each hand”2.
