On the northern side of the Jardin des Plantes in Paris (entrance from Rue Cuvier) there is the house where Georges Cuvier lived while working at the Muséum national d’histoire naturelle on the other side of the Jardin. On the facade of the house there is a French inscription (Maison de Cuvier) and a niche with the bust of the scientist.
