Gian Leonardo Marugj’s house can be found in Casalnuovo, actually Manduria (via Ludovico Omodei,27). During the 19th century, a great flood devastated Manduria and the house of Marugj was heavily hit by the catastrophe, so that the numerous documents and correspondences kept inside were damaged.
Today, the house has been restructured and it is a private property.

Inside the house is jealously guarded an original first edition of one Gian Leonardo Marugj’s most important medical treaties:
