This memorial of Giuseppe Dagnini can be seen, together with the one of Filippo Franchini outside the great hall of the Ospedale Maggiore in Bologna (Largo Bartolo Nigrisoli, 2).
The upper part of the monument, a marble bas-relief of the physician, is a work of Italian sculptor Alfonso Borghesani. In the lower part there is a list of Dagnini’s most important medical and surgical achievements.
