This Antonio Berti’s bronze bust of Guglielmo Sanguinetti is located in the left side of the entrance hall of the hospital “Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza“. The writing on it says: GUGLIELMO / SANGUINETTI / MEDICO CHIRURGO / 1854 1964 / EUGE SERVE BONE / ET FIDELIS / INTRA IN GAUDIUM / DOMINI TUI / MATTH XXV 23”. The sculptor was Guglielmo Sanguinetti’s countryman and wanted to honour him this way.
