The original stone burial of Ignaz Semmelweis can still be seen in Plot 34/11 of Kerepesi Cemetery in Budapest (Fiumei út 16), even if in 1964 his remains were transferred to the house in which he was born, now hosting the Semmelweis Medical History Museum.
