Inductors with Grenet Battery

These inductors connected to a Grenet battery (Bobines d’induction et pile de Grenet) for electrotherapy are of the same type which are represented on a table in the famous Jean Martin Charcot portrait, “Un Leçon Clinique à la Salpêtrière” (1887) by André Brouillet. These instruments are displayed in a showcase of the Musée d’Histoire de la Médecine in the Université Paris Descartes, Paris.
