Janusz Korczak’s Monument

This beautiful bronze monument of Janusz Korczak, called “Korczak an the Ghetto’s Children”, can be seen in the square named after him in 2002, inside the Yad Vashem in Jerusalem. It is a work of sculptor Boris Saktsier, made in 1979, and it was donated to Yad Vashem by Mila Brenner and Ya’akov Meridor. The square was designed by architect Shlomo Ahronson1.
