This marble bust of John Scott Burdon-Sanderson can be seen inside the Oxford University Museum of Natural History. Burdon-Sanderson, as a Regius Professor of Medicine, had his office in the Museum. The inscription on the basament of the bust reads as follows: “SIR JOHN SCOTT BURDON-SANDERSON BT. / D.M., F.R.S / WAYNFLETE PROFESSOR OF PHYSIOLOGY. 1882-95. / REGIUS PROFESSOR OF MEDICINE. 1895-1904.”.
