Luther Holden 1880 by John Everett Millais

This beautiful oil-on-canvas portrait of Luther Holden can be seen in the ‘Henry VIII Committee Room’ of St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. It was made in 1880 by Pre-Raphaelite English painter John Everett Millais and “presented to the Governors” of the Hospital by Holden’s “Pupils and Friends”.
