This bronze bust of Nicasio Landa was placed in the garden of the Hospital de Navarra on the 24th of April 1999. It is a work by sculptor Rafael Huerta1. On the basament, a Spanish inscription reads as follows: “AL MEDICO PAMPLONES / NICASIO LANDA / 1830 – 1891 / COFUNDADOR DE LA / CRUZ ROJA ESPAÑOLA / EN PAMPLONA, 5 DE JULIO DE 1864”.
