This building is all that remains of the medieval Ospedale di San Giovanni (St.John’s Hospital), aka Ospedale della Scala, in Acquapendente. It was founded in 1406, just in front of the Church of St.Francis, where a memorial of Girolamo Fabrizi d’Acquapendente can be seen.
