Paolo Zacchia died in March 1659, at the age of 75. The funeral was held in the church of Santa Maria in Vallicella1, where he was buried.
The church of Santa Maria in Vallicella is traditionally known as Chiesa Nuova and it’s located in Rome (Piazza dell’Orologio, 3).
Probably the engraving on the gravestone inside the church is no longer readable.
