Pietro Valdoni’s Hall

Pietro Valdoni’s Hall is located on the second floor of the Fourth Surgical Clinic (Clinica Chirurgica IV) of the Policlinico Umberto I in Rome. This hall is a modern and small reproduction of the big and historical hall “Pietro Valdoni”, located on the first floor of the Fourth Surgical Clinic, where Pietro Valdoni’s bust can be seen. As in the main hall, there is a bronze bust of Pietro Valdoni, sculpted by the Italian artist Antonio Berti (1904-1990). In addition there are a sculpture of the head of the great Italian surgeon and a collection of his honours received all over the world. This hall is used for meetings, lessons and archiving medical records.
