Rudolf Virchow Monument

A “muscular limestone statue (1910) honors the nineteenth-century pathologist, archaeologist, politician and public-health reformer”1 Rudolf Virchow exactly in the midst of Karlplatz, in Berlin. The monument was created by Fritz Klimsch, whose name is carved on the pedestal (even if today almost illegible), between 1906 and 1910.
