This funeral monument (also a tomb?) of Salvatore Tommasi was erected as an initiative of his sister and still can be seen in the Quadrato degli uomini illustri (Square of illustrious figures, 5th block, n.76) in the Poggioreale Cemetery of Naples.
On the basament the following Italian inscription can be read: “A / SALVATORE TOMMASI / AFFETTUOSO TRIBUTO / DI / SUA SORELLA / GIULIA / – / MDCCCXCVI”.
