The monumental tomb of Samuel Hahnemann can be found in the Division 19 of the Pére Lachaise Cemetery in Paris. Above Hahnemann’s bronze bust there is the following French inscription: “A / HAHNEMANN / FONDATEUR / DE / L’HOMOEOPATHIE / NÉ À MEISSEN (SAXE) 1755 / MORT A PARIS EN 1843”. Under the bust a little bronze plaque states in Latin: NON INUTILIS VIXI. Finally, two marble tablets at the base of the monument list the main Works of the scientist and some phrases taken from his books.
