The burial of Santiago Ramon y Cajal can be found in the cemetery of Nuestra Señora de la Almudena in Madrid (Av. Daroca, 90). The exact location is Meseta 2, Cuartel 1-PF, Manzana 112. Cajal was buried in a very simple tomb along with his wife Silveria Fañanás. Nowadays (August 2013) Cajal’s tomb appears very shabby and neglected.
