Santorio Weighing Chair Reconstruction

This wooden model of the weighing chair of Santorio Santorio can be seen in the entrance hall to the Gerolamo Fabrici’s anatomical theatre inside Palazzo del Bo’, Padua. Sanctorius designed this static chair in order to perform his famous experiments on body weight changes through nutrition, excretion and perspiration.
