Sebastian Kneipp’s Museum

The Kneipp Museum is housed in the historic convent of the Dominican nuns, a place closely connected to the life of Sebastian Kneipp in Bad Worishofen (Klosterhof 1).
Kneipp arrived here in 1855 as a confessor and remained until his death in 1897, shaping the site into the heart of his life’s work.

Today, the museum’s exhibition in the east wing of the monastery offers an engaging and comprehensive insight into his legacy. The tour begins with “Wörishofen before Kneipp” and guides visitors through key moments of his life, highlighting his achievements as a pioneering water therapist and presenting the five pillars of his holistic teachings.
The life and work of the famous priest are impressively documented through over 2,000 exhibits.
