The Paintress Fresco

“The paintress” fresco is the best preserved decoration from the The Surgeon’s home of Pompeii. It portrays a young woman painting a herm of Dionysus. It is conserved in the Museo Archeologico Nazionale (First floor, LXVI hall) of Naples.
