Thomas Linacre’s Portrait

This modern portrait of Thomas Linacre can be seen in the Sala dei Quaranta, inside the Palazzo del Bo’, the central seat of the University of Padua. This beautiful room, which contains also the wooden tribune from where – according to a tradition – Galileo Galilei gave his classes, is decorated with the portraits of forty famous teachers and students of the local University.
