This marble memorial tablet of Valentino Facchini (with a bronze medallion with the physician’s face) can be seen in the entrance hall of the central pavilion of the Ospedale Bellaria in Bologna. Facchini directed the hospital for 23 years, from its inauguration, in 1930, to 1953, when the tablet was uncovered.
