Ziekenzorg in Het Geelse Gasthuis

“Ziekenzorg in het Geelse gasthuis” (hospital care in the Geel’s hospital) was painted in 1639 by an unknown author, currently it is stored in the Gasthuismuseum in Geel. The painting illustrates eight nuns intent on providing medical assistance to sick people inside the hospital, built in the thirteenth century in the place where, according to legend, Dymphna was killed.
