Agostina Pietrantoni’s Murder Memorial Tablet

A marble memorial tablet and a portrait mark the spot where Agostina Pietrantoni was attacked and stabbed to death in the morning of November 13, 1894, by an obsessed male patient inside the Hospital of Santo Spirito in Saxia in Rome. She worked as a nurse in the tuberculosis ward of the hospital.
