Alois Alzheimer lived in this Villa of Wrocław (42 Bujwida) from 1912 until his death, in 1915.
In 1995, a bas-relief monument with a bilingual inscription (German/Polish) was unveiled on the facade of the Villa. The German inscription reads as follows: “Alois Alzheimer, 1866-1915. In memory of the great neuropathologist and psychiatrist who lived in this building in the years 1912-1915. The Polish Society for Psychiatry and the German Society for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Neurology. 19.12.1995”1.
