Antonio Biagi’s Memorial Plaque

This memorial plaque can be seen in the Accademia Lancisiana, in Rome and commemorates Antonio Biagi. He was chief surgeon at Hospital Santa Maria della Consolazione. He bequeathed to the above-mentioned hospital his collection of books and a small income to engage a librarian and buy further textbooks. When the hospital stopped its activity, Accademia Lancisiana got the whole collection of books.
