Benjamin Franklin’s Bust by Houdon

This marble bust of Benjamin Franklin can be seen in the American Wing (Room 753) of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. It was sculpted by Jean-Antoine Houdon in 1778 and donated to the Museum in 1872 by John Bard1.
