Emilio Tiraboschi’s Memorial Tablet

This marble tablet to the memory of Emilio Tiraboschi, one – and possibly the most famous – among the early victims of X-ray exposure, can still be seen in the currently (2016) abandoned Radiological Pavilion of the old “Ospedale Principessa di Piemonte” in Bergamo. The tablet was unveiled in 1933 by the hospital management.
