Entrance Hall

The Entrance Hall of the Faculté de Médecine in Montpellier is a room of notable dimensions (20m x 8.5m). It is decorated with 16 terracotta busts of ancient physicians or early masters of the school.

Among them we can notice: Aulus Cornelius Celsus, Claudius Galen, Andreas Vesalius, Paolo Zacchia, Guillaume de Baillou, Jean Pecquet, François Mauriceau, Georg Ernst Stahl, Giovanni Battista Morgagni, Albrecht von Haller, Paul Joseph Barthez.
