This is an anonymous copy of a portrait of Gaspare Tagliacozzi on display in the Museum of Palazzo Poggi, Bologna (via Zamboni, 33). The original, painted by Tribuzio Passarotti in the late 16th century, is contradictorily located in the University Rectorate (in the same Palace1) or in the Donazione Putti of the Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli2.
