Giuseppe Jona’s Home and Stumbling Block

Giuseppe Jona lived and died (1943) in this house of Venice (Calle Fontana, 3826, Cannaregio). In 2020, a “stumbling block”(stolpersteine) was placed in front of it to remember the persecution he suffered as the chief of the Jew community by the Fascist police1.
