This is the embarassing condition in which you can find nowadays (July 2014) the monument of Guillaume Dupuytren in the main courtyard of the Hôtel-Dieu in Paris. His monument deserves this preeminent position (but also an urgent clean-up!) in the hospital where he spent most of his professional life as chief surgeon.
