The Hypostyle Hall can be found in the modernist site of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona. It “was originally a distribution space giving access to the underground galleries connecting the different pavilions and if necessary allowed carriages in and out of the complex. In the 1990s it was converted for use as the Emergency Department”1.
