This memorial tablet on the external wall of the Chapelle de l’Hotel-Dieu de Montreal in Montreal locates the burial of Jeanne Mance. She died in 1673 and was buried in the chapel of the original hospital. Her remains were moved here in 1861, along with the ones of other 176 hospitallers.
