Joseph Guislain Monument

This bronze statue of psychiatry reformer Joseph Guislain by sculptor A.Hambresin was unveiled in Ghent (at the crossroads between Begijnhoflaan and Noordstraat) on 10 July 1887. “Guislain is depicted with three symbols: books, shackles and building bricks”1.
