Andre Marie Ampere’s Tomb

These pictures show the tomb, located in Montmartre Cemetière (30th section, number 4 in 20 Avenue Rachel, 75018, in Paris, France) where both André-Marie Ampère and his brother, Jean-Jacques, lay.

Above the marble inscription are located two bronze medallions portraying them, facing each other, sculpted by the French artist Gumery.

The epigraph referring to Andrè-Marie reads as follows:
