Jacques Lisfranc was buried in the Montparnasse Cemetery in Paris (3, Boulevard Edgar-Quinet) and his beautiful funeral monument can be found in Division 13, facing on the Avenue du Nord not far from the Avenue Principal. A part from his bust, two bronze bas-reliefs remember is work on the battlefields of Leipzig (1813) and his lessons of clinical surgery at the old Hôpital de la Pitié.
