Joseph Recamier was buried in the Montparnasse Cemetery in Paris (3, Boulevard Edgar-Quinet) and his remains can be found in his family chapel (Division 18, Line 1 South, Tomb 25 East). His tombstone can be barely seen through the star-shaped holes in the metal door.
