This pleximeter (with the corresponding percussor) can be seen in the Musée d’Histoire de la Médecine of the Université Paris Descartes, Paris. It belonged to the very inventor of this diagnostic tool, French physician Pierre Adolphe Piorry who presented it in 1874 to a friend physician, Alexandre Moutier.
