This bas-relief medallion of Antonio Maria Valsalva can be seen in Municipal Library of Imola (via Emilia, 80). The marble medallion looks identical to the one in the Archiginnasio Palace of Bologna, so it is probably a work by the same italian sculptor, Angelo Piò, an exponent of the late baroque school.
