This bronze bust of Alessandro Codivilla, beautifully framed in marble, can be seen in one of the courtyards of the Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, in Bologna.
The italian inscription reads as follows: “ALESSANDRO CODIVILLA / ONORE DELLA CATTEDRA DI ORTOPEDIA / DIRESSE QUESTO ISTITUTO / DAL I MARZO MDCCCIC AL XXVIII FEBB. MCMXII / INNALZANDOLO A FAMA MONDIALE”.
The monument was inaugurated the 8th of September 1917 and Vittorio Putti made the main address1.
