Luigi Galvani’s Portrait by Sante Nucci

This 19th-century oil-on-canvas portrait of Luigi Galvani can be seen in the Science and Art Museums of Palazzo Poggi in Bologna (via Zamboni 33). Sante Nucci painted it, a copy of the 18th-century one by Pietro Fancelli, preserved in the same museum.
