In this house of Bologna (via Saragozza, 147 – now 22), pioneer woman physician Maria Dalle Donne lived and directed an obstetrics school, in connection with the University of Bologna, since 1804 (during the Napoleonic government of Italy) to 1842, the year of her death1.
