This sacred conversation fresco, aka “Madonna of the Shadows”, by Fra Angelico can be seen along one of the corridors of the cells on the first floor of the convent now known as Museo Nazionale di San Marco in Florence. The Virgin Mary with the Child are represented among many saints including the Saint physicians Cosmas and Damian (second and third from the left).
